Settling Into Idaho Life
It's been a year and 3 months since I moved to our new home in Idaho. Jody only visits occasionally until she can fully retire so it's pretty much just me. Makes it easier to self-isolate during this Covid situation.
Front Yard:
Jody has been doing a lot of work in the front and back yards--she thatched the front yard and it is so green now. I gave it a good mow a few days ago and it should be the last time I have to mow until next Spring. I decorated our light pole for Halloween and bought a ligh bulb that looks like a real flickering flame.
Sunsets:
Idaho has some incredible sunsets, especially in October.

Idaho is Now Home
My sister and I bought a house in Weiser, Idaho and I made the permanent move July 31st. Summer's are much warmer here but the house and my car are air-conditioned so it makes it bearable. It's beautiful here and it's truly small-town America--there's only 5,600 people.
"Building a Mechanic"
I found a story my father, Jack Daniel Keeler Snr. had written on IBM punch cards back in October of 1966 titled "Building a Mechanic". Read the story here.

Update: June 2017
My name is Jana and I live in the beautiful city of Seattle.
This website chronicles such things as my family's ancestry, halloween costumes I make for my grandchildren, home rehab and Cake art including gingerbread. While most of this site is of interest to my family and friends some out there may enjoy some of this content.
Feel free to explore the different tabs but be aware that some of the content is still under construction (sorry 'bout that).
My mother, Eva Mae Davis Keeler Anderson was born in Arkansas in 1928. I've been chronicling her family history for while now. It really started when I found a document done by some of her brothers on the family history.
If you are a Davis descendant from James Davis who was born in 1751 and came to Virginia from Wales please contact me! jkeeler415@gmail.com
